Courier And Notary Request Terms

All courier and notary requests are subject to acceptance based on route, timing, cargo, appointment details, safety, signer readiness, and driver capacity. Public city price sheets are planning tools for standard SUV-ready business deliveries, and JAK Express may decline or revise any request that is not a fit.

Acceptance And Dispatch

• A route is not accepted until JAK Express confirms the request, timing, cargo fit, and pricing.
• A notary appointment is not accepted until JAK Express confirms the appointment address, timing, requested notarial acts, signer readiness, access details, and pricing.
• For accepted emergency jobs, driver dispatch is usually within 20 minutes and guaranteed within 40 minutes of acceptance.
• Emergency calls are accepted 24 hours. Dispatcher coverage rotates by day, with 24-hour call routing for urgent requests. Missed calls may occur if dispatch is already coordinating a run or temporarily unavailable.
• Weather, traffic, unsafe conditions, restricted access, incorrect details, or customer delays may affect pickup and delivery timing.

Cargo And Route Fit

• Cargo must be legal, safe to transport, and able to fit securely in the available courier vehicle.
• JAK Express may refuse oversized, unsafe, improperly packaged, restricted, or unclear cargo.
• Customers are responsible for providing accurate pickup, dropoff, contact, access, and handling details.
• Temperature-sensitive or medical-related requests must include necessary handling instructions before acceptance.

Notary Appointments

• JAK Express notary service is for in-person Washington notary appointments. Remote online notarization is not part of the current service.
• Customers are responsible for providing accurate appointment address, signer, witness, access, document-type, and requested notarial-act details before acceptance.
• All required signers must be present, willing, aware, and able to provide acceptable current identification at the appointment.
• JAK Express may decline or stop a notary appointment if identification is insufficient, a signer is not present or not willing, the document appears incomplete, the requested act is not permitted, required witnesses are missing, or the appointment is otherwise not a fit.
• JAK Express does not provide legal advice, choose the notarial act for the customer, draft documents, or verify that a document is legally sufficient for the customer's purpose.

Proof Of Delivery

Photo proof of delivery is available by email or text. Signature confirmation can be provided when requested and when the receiving location or recipient can reasonably provide it.

SMS Notifications

JAK Express sends automated SMS notifications for active delivery jobs under the JAK Express Delivery Notifications program. Messages include order confirmation, driver dispatched, pickup confirmed, and delivery completed updates. Message frequency varies per delivery, typically 3 to 5 messages per job. Pricing And Payment

Courier price sheets are based on the business pickup city, city-zone delivery pricing, and the Auburn / Federal Way operating core. Routes that move back toward the core may be priced lower than routes moving farther away, and one-pickup batch deliveries may use reduced extra-drop charges instead of pricing every dropoff as a separate job. Public sheet prices are for standard SUV-ready business deliveries and may change for volume agreements, urgent timing, wait time, access issues, incorrect addresses, cargo fit, special handling, or account-specific terms. Notary appointments are reviewed separately, with $15 per notarial act and any travel or scheduling details confirmed before acceptance. No card is collected on the price page, and no public price sheet creates an automatic order. Invoice and payment details follow after completion and proof of delivery or appointment completion through JAK Express.

Cancellation

Accepted or scheduled jobs or appointments canceled within 2 hours of pickup or appointment time may incur a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellation fees may also depend on whether a driver has already been dispatched, route or appointment time has been reserved, travel has begun, pickup work has begun, or the appointment cannot be completed because required signers, identification, documents, witnesses, or access are not ready.

No Automatic Acceptance

Submitting route or appointment details, using the city price sheet or appointment request, calling, emailing, or requesting account pricing does not guarantee that JAK Express will accept the job or appointment. Every request is reviewed for fit, safety, timing, cargo, distance, appointment scope, signer readiness, and capacity.
