JAK Express uses phone and email contact information to respond to courier and notary requests, calculate route and appointment quotes, plan routes, schedule work, confirm pricing, prepare invoices, and communicate about service. We do not sell personal information.
Information We May Collect
- Name, phone number, email address, and company name when provided
- Pickup, dropoff, or notary appointment address details needed to evaluate or complete a courier or notary request
- Route timing, cargo size, handling notes, delivery instructions, appointment access notes, and requested appointment windows
- Notary appointment details when provided, such as document type, number of notarial acts / stamps, signer names, witness needs, and identification-readiness notes
- city price sheet details such as route mileage, estimated route legs, and quoted price
- Messages sent by phone, text, or email
SMS Messaging
Phone numbers provided through the quote form or dispatch contact may be used to send SMS text message updates about active delivery jobs. These messages may include order confirmation, driver dispatched notification, pickup confirmation, and delivery completion. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on delivery activity, typically 3 to 5 messages per job. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further SMS notifications. Reply HELP for assistance. Phone numbers are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
How We Use Information
- To respond to emergency dispatch calls, courier requests, and notary appointment requests
- To calculate route mileage, appointment travel, and quote pricing through mapping tools
- To confirm pricing, timing, pickup, delivery, appointment, and proof-of-delivery details
- To review notary appointment fit, signer readiness, requested notarial acts, access details, and witness needs
- To communicate about scheduled routes, recurring service, account planning, invoices, and payment details
- To keep basic records needed for operations, billing, and service history
Sharing
JAK Express does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only as needed to complete a delivery or notary appointment, respond to a request, comply with legal requirements, calculate route distance or appointment travel through Google Maps, manage dispatch, appointment, and proof-of-delivery details through Supabase, send quote and status notifications through Resend, prepare completed-job invoices through future billing tools such as QuickBooks, or use basic tools for communication, website hosting, and business operations.
Medical And Sensitive Deliveries
For medical, legal, notary, or sensitive deliveries, only provide the information needed to evaluate and complete the request. For notary appointments, customers should avoid sending full documents, identification numbers, financial details, medical details, or confidential records by email unless dispatch specifically needs them to evaluate the appointment. JAK Express handles sensitive details with discretion, but customers should avoid sending unnecessary private, medical, legal, or confidential information unless it is needed for the route or appointment.
